A short walk to Little Oberon Bay
November 3rd, 2008This walk to Little Oberon Bay happened on a grey day in August following a period of wet weather and high tides. Because we only had a few hours available, and I know Bob is not keen on clambering over rocks, I chose a fairly straight-forward track-walk starting near the new Wilderness Retreats at Tidal River.

Limosa Rise declared Finalist For Victorian Tourism Awards 2007
December 20th, 2007Limosa Rise qualified as a Finalist in the 2007 Victorian Tourism Awards in the category: Deluxe Accommodation.
Update: We are finalists again in 2008!
We were up against stiff competition: the Crown Promenade Hotel won, with Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens and Sebel Heritage Yarra Valley also qualifying as finalists.
Limosa Rise wins Gippsland Tourism Award 2007

In July 2007, we attended a Gippsland Tourism Awards presentation evening in Sale and were thrilled to be announced Winners in the Deluxe Accommodation category.
We’d already been working closely with other operators in Gippsland. Our entry involved completion of two out of the five sections required for entry into the Victorian Tourism Awards.
